Coaching
Alan, our coach, started fencing when he was 14 ("...to get out of playing football...").
He is a full-time coach, coaching professionally for 20 years at various schools and clubs in London.
He is a Member of
The British Academy of Fencing and Registered with
British Fencing (links will open in a new tab/window)).
Alan currently holds the following qualifications:
from the British Academy of Fencing: Level 3 Foil, Level 2 Epee.
And from British Fencing: Level 3 Foil, Level 2 Epee and Sabre.
And Wheelchair Certification from the British Disabled Fencing Association.
He has Enhanced DBS Clearance and First Aid qualifications
